Paramount has just revealed the trailer for the latest movie in the xXx franchise and it stars one of our all-time favourite action movie heroes! Vin Diesel is set to return to his role as Xander Cage in the franchise which first shot him to fame back in 2002. The action movie franchise is set for revival with The Return of Xander Cage, which sees Diesel return to his role as a secret agent/extreme sports fanatic who wields his weapon of choice, a motorcycle, while engaging in hand to hand combat.
The original xXx movie established Diesel as a major box office draw, with the film grossing over $277 million worldwide. However Diesel chose to sit out the 2005 xXx film State of the Union, so it will be exciting to see him return to the role of Cage after his ongoing success in the Fast franchise.

Cage will have quite a crew with him as he attempts to save the world from disaster at the hands of a super-weapon. After rejecting the team of henchmen that Toni Collette gifted him (by rejection we mean throwing them out of a plane), he recruits his own team: from Ruby Rose (Orange Is the New Black) to Nina Dobrev to Donnie Yen (IP Man), Deepika Padukone, Rory McCann (Game of Thrones), Tony Jaa (Ong-Bak), Samuel L. Jackson, and Neymar Jr. (Brazilian professional footballer).
With D.J. Caruso directing this exciting action sequel, we can expect great things of these characters. Producer Joe Roth will work alongside Diesel and numerous other talented professionals on the sequel, with Revolution executives Vince Totino and Scott Hemming contributing their skills to make sure that this sequel is not one to be missed!
