Don't Cry Mommy

Inspired by the Kim Bu-Nam case, Don't Cry Mommy from director Yong-han Kim aims to raise awareness of sex crimes. He shows how sexual assault is no different from destroying a person's soul. Recently divorced You-lim is moving on in life but her only daughter, Eun-ah, frequently gets picked on at her new school and ends up being brutally raped by a group of male students. This tragic incident leads her to ultimately commit suicide. Given that the suspects are minors, the law is unable to fully punish and prosecute them.
