And just like that, the dust has settled on Halloween, the most elaborate fancy dress party of the year, where we know Heidi Klum always reigns supreme in terms of her get-up.

The question is never “Will Heidi Klum be the best-dressed character again?” but “I wonder which epic character Heidi Klum will dress as this year?” And she always delivers. Let’s take a look at her Halloween costume and other amazing celebrity Halloween get-ups.

Heidi Klum

Once again, Klum has outdid herself. This year, she dresses up as a convincing Princess Fiona, Ogress style, from the movie Shrek and roped in her real-life boyfriend, Tom Kaulitz, as Shrek himself. And she even has some ogre babies to complete the look! If that’s not dedication, we don’t know what is.

Olivia Munn

As we know, Olivia Munn is Eurasian; her mother is Chinese Vietnamese. And she is obviously very proud of her Asian roots. She dressed up as Peik Lin (Awkwafina) from Crazy Rich Asians, and gave the movie a shoutout on her Instagram post. She might be rocking a top with Hello Kitty prints instead of rabbit prints, but it was definitely top effort from her.

Ciara

Much like how Munn pays homage to her parentage, Ciara did the same, appearing in a Black Panther inspired costume. Instead of following the costume in the movie to a T, she made amendments and came out with her own design. And it looks like it fits right in with the costumes in the Black Panther movie.

Gal Gadot

While Gal Gadot plays Wonder Woman on screen, she opted to dress as another for Halloween. She only gave a glimpse of her get-up but it’s enough for us to know who- her reel-life pal Batman. And she looks every bit as fierce as the Dark Knight, complete with a scowl under that cowl. The photo was taken when she was filming Justice League, so does that mean she used Ben Affleck’s bat mask as part of her costume? More importantly, what’s the rest of the costume?

Justice League

Rebel Wilson

Wilson as Wilson? Sounds just right to us. Rebel Wilson gets a ball of laughs as Wilson the Volleyball in the movie Cast Away, starring Tom Hanks on the Ellen Show. Being a volleyball isn’t an easy task, as Wilson (the actress) as trouble sitting down as Wilson (the ball), and it’s even harder for her to get hugs (the ball gets in the way).

Cast Away

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban

The pair doesn’t look like they’re dressed up as recognisable characters (she’s in face paint, he’s like a ninja warrior?) but the pair definitely scores points in the adorable department. Nicole Kidman may be past 50 but she still can definitely still rock a cute look.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

The pair is known to dress the entire family in a cohesive theme for Halloween and it’s no different this year. The trio (including their son Silas) dress up as Lego Batman movie characters and look impossibly cute. The best part? They even pose like their Lego characters.

LEGO DC Super Heroes: The Flash

Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart and his family could not be more coordinated. The comedian and his family dress up as adorable Minions and looked the part. Yes, even his barely one-year-old son was roped in for the fancy dress affair, and he totally looks like a grumpy minion! These Harts are right after our hearts!

Minions

George Clooney and Cindy Crawford

You would be forgiven if you thought George Clooney had changed his profession. The actor looks convincingly as a pilot, alongside his co-pilot Rande Gerber (Cindy Crawford’s husband), as well as Cindy Crawford herself, who looks extremely fetching in her retro flight attendant costume, don’t you think?

Whose costume(s) do you love the most?
